Pics, Pics, Pics.

Last night we ended up in a place called the Orient Land Trust, full of hot springs, old abandoned mines, incredible scenery, and a colony of 250,000 bats!

  1. Do you think you can ship some of those bats back east? Did you check their noses for white-nose syndrome?

  2. The bats are an all male colony of migratory Brazilian free-tail bats. Apparently because they are migratory and don't winter in one place they are less prone to get White Nose Syndrome. They say that they completely free of it and are doing very well!
